Spring Onion Pickle






1.4 teaspoons Oil 2.1 bunch spring onions 3. pulp of lemon sized tamarind 4.½ teaspoon turmeric powder 5.1½ salt 6.1½ chilli powder 7.2 teaspoon powdered jaggery 8.¼ teaspoon hing or asafoetida 9.½ teaspoon of mustard and methi dana powder Note : Roast mustard seeds and methi dana separately on a slow flame without oil. Cool completely. Add salt and grind into a powder otherwise, it will turn bitter.
